Bozeman's original fire engine was transported from Fire Station No. 3 into the Pioneer Museum last week, where it will now be on display for at least two years. The steam-powered, horse-drawn engine was acquired by the city in 1889. Pioneer Museum Director John Russell helped Bozeman firefighters very carefully move the beautiful antique into the museum. It was a narrow fit, as this video from The Bozeman Daily Chronicle proves:
