Beronica Salas, 32 YOA, of Belgrade, was arrested on December 13, 2012 and charged with felony burglary. The arrest was a result of a multi-agency response that originated with a call from an alert citizen who saw suspicious activity at a residence on the 2200 block of West Main.

The citizen called police reporting a possible burglary in progress. When an officer attempted to stop a vehicle matching the description leaving the area a vehicle pursuit ensued. Officers from Bozeman Police and Gallatin County initially pursued the vehicle. When the vehicle left Bozeman city limits the pursuit was conducted by Gallatin County, Montana Highway Patrol, and Belgrade Police.

The vehicle was eventually stopped on Thorpe Road west of Belgrade after a tire deflating device was utilized to disable the vehicle. Salas was the only occupant of the vehicle and was taken into custody.
Salas was held without bond at the detention center pending her initial appearance.
