Well, it means a few important things. Not least of which could be water usage surcharges if we're not careful. Smart landscape watering is the main goal to reduce Bozeman's water usage during this dry summer.
Come adventure on a beautiful Saturday morning at the Deep Creek trailhead, just south of Livingston. If you've always wanted to identify the beneficial plants in our local ecosystem, THIS is that chance.
In Bozeman, the views are free. Getting around via bus is free. But my favorite free thing to do with guests is to tour the Gallatin Art Crossing sculptures, or better yet, send them on their own way for a couple of hours.
Few clubs in the Bozeman area give 100% of their proceeds back to the community but the Gallatin Gardeners Club does. So come enjoy a pint because $1 from every pint sold between 5pm and 8pm on Monday (5/3) will be donated to this club.
How cool! It's a full set of five classes, focused on landscaping your personal space with water efficient design, choices and tools. The City of Bozeman makes a genuine effort to educate and encourage smart water usage.
