Drinking Horse Trail to Close in July
Drinking Horse Trail will be closed for fifteen days in July as construction on the "Path to the M" continues northeast of Bozeman.
The construction includes a box culvert that will be installed underneath Highway 86 to allow safe travel of pedestrians and bikes between the M trailhead and Drinking Horse trailhead.
Drinking Horse Trail and parking lot will be CLOSED for installation of the culvert from July 8 – July 23.
Please be respectful of the trail closure and consider trying a new trail instead. The M trail will remain open but due to limited parking hikers are encouraged to seek other options as well.
