Famous TV House For Sale And It’s Less Than Many Montana Homes
Here's a story about a real estate market that is a little bit out of control. Of course, we've talked about this over and over, however, I ran across something that I thought was very interesting, and if you're a pop culture fan like myself, I think you will too.
I love looking at all of the real estate apps and checking out all of the houses for sale across Montana. Don't get me wrong, I can't afford most of them, so it's kind of like being on a diet, and looking at pictures of dessert, but, I digress.
Recently, I came across a home outside of Montana that most of us of a certain age will no doubt recognize and this iconic tv home is now for sale.
The house, which is listed on Zillow and is located in North Hollywood is a 5 Bed, 5 Bath, 5000 square foot home. It's also one of the most famous homes in the world it's the second most photographed house behind the White House.
Yes, we are talking about the one and only Brady Bunch House.
The home was remodeled in the last few years and completely looks like the tv show house that so many of us are familiar with. It's got everything you'd expect from the orange kitchen countertops to Alice's bedroom, the Jack and Jill bath, and Greg's groovy attic room.
So how much do they want for it? They're asking for 5.5 million dollars.
Next question, why are we talking about a house in California? Because that house in California, which is the second most famous house in the country is cheaper than several Montana homes that are currently for sale.
In fact, just scrolling through the first 5 pages of Zillow, I found 10 properties that were just as or more expensive, including a Montana home on Flathead Lake that is listed for 72 million dollars. That's right, 72 million, and it's not even finished!
Now granted, many of these Montana homes come with land so you don't have to worry about all of your neighbors or people driving by all hours of the day and taking pictures of your home, but I mean, it would be kind of cool to own the Brady Bunch House, right?
I mean you could turn that thing into a VBRO and charge a ton to stay there, which you would have to since it looks like the mortgage is going to cost you about 30 grand a month, which, if you ask me is totally far out.
