This film is a narrative short, just 15 minutes in length. It features the beauty of Montana ranch scenery and the isolation of ranch life through the eyes of 'Ruth.'
We had a chance to catch up with Jenna Ciralli for the real scoop on how this short film came to fruition:
I originally conceived the basic idea for Willow Creek Road with a close friend and colleague, Natalie Engelbert, in New York City.
We imagined a world of tension between a single mom with kids with a childless woman who intervenes but it just never felt right in the big city.
I had an "aha" moment one day: of making the characters particular to a rural world and having Montana as a character itself.
