Free Stuff and Events This Weekend Around Bozeman Area
Here's what's going on, virtually and in person. Classes, kid's stuff, lots of live music and maybe even a free pair of socks? The Gallatin Valley has a lot to offer this weekend.
To be clear, SOME of these events are free or are offering free stuff...not ALL of the following events! (Don't want any confusion about the concerts...)
- Thursday, October 15th: Grand Opening of SockIt2U at the Gallatin Valley Mall. First 25 visitors at 5pm will get a FREE PAIR OF SOCKS!
- Friday, October 16th - Sunday, October 18th: Bozeman Paranormal Society Annual Cemetery Investigation Tours. Happening at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Lindley Park. Various times all 3 days, so be sure to check out the link to SIGN UP. Sage will even be provided for those wanting to be "cleansed" before entering the cemetery! Bring your own hand sanitizer and mask, please.
- Saturday, October 17th: 2020 Bozeman Virtual Photo Expo with Bozeman Camera. 10am to 5pm on Saturday. This is an online event via Facebook Live with Bozeman Camera. FREE event with classes and talks from pro photographers. Class schedule and event description HERE.
- Saturday, October 17th: Chilling Campfire Tours at the Museum of the Rockies. 600 West Kagy Boulevard, Bozeman. 6pm to 8:45pm. OUTDOOR EVENT! DRESS WARMLY! 45 minute tours led by a "Spirit Guide" with tour groups of 16 people departing in 15-minute intervals. Masks required. MOR Members: $8/child, $12/adult
Public: $10/child, $14/adult. GET TICKETS HERE. - Saturday, October 17th: CANCELLED!!!!!! Keith Scott, Michael Gillan and Joe Knapp With Mario Miner Jr. at The Filling Station. A blues laced evening with limited capacity for COVID-19 safety. County mask rules will be followed, so bring one.. 21+ show. $15 cover at the door. 2005 North Rouse Avenue, Bozeman.
- Saturday, October 17th: (in Billings) El Wencho live at Craft Local in downtown Billings. Music from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Tickets are $15. Only 100 tickets available to abide by COVID-19 regulations. TICKETS SOLD ONLINE ONLY at the link above.
- Sunday, October 18th: Silly Spookies: Halloween Improv Show & Crafts. Happening at Bozeman Pond at 2pm to 2:40pm AND 3pm to 3:40pm. You can sign up for one or the other. Children AND adults must register in advance for an accurate head count. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Age 5 and older are required to wear masks.
