Gallatin Valley Skatepark Association Still Looking For Volunteers To Teach Kids How To Skateboard
Calling all Galltin Valley skaters: The Gallatin Valley Skatepark Association (GVSA) is looking for a few more people to help with the Bozeman City Rec Dept "Learn to Skate" program. If you've got some skateboarding skills you'd be happy to pass along to local kids, volunteers are needed the last week of June and the first week of July. Details here:
The "Learn to Skate" program is full in both age groups (with a long waiting list). There are 10 kids in each group. Volunteer skaters would be needed for two weeks in the summer (3 hours, 4 days a week). Equipment and chaperones will be provided, the GVSA just needs some experts! Here are the dates:
June 24 - 27 (Mon - Thurs): 9 am - noon (Ages 5 - 7)
July 1 - 5 (Mon - Fri, no class on July 4): 9 am - noon (Ages 6 - 9)
If you can help, email info@gallatinvalleyskatepark.com
