Get Your Kids Ready for ‘The Great Pumpkin Patch’ at Beall Park on October 18

Join Bozeman Deaconess Health Services in the hunt for pumpkins and good nutrition at the Beall Park Recreation Center on Saturday, October 18 from 9:30 am - 1 pm! To celebrate the fall harvest, 200 pumpkins will be in the pumpkin patch, and kids ages 5-12 can claim one and paint it.

Be smart, eat smart. "Fall" into good habits: enjoy seasonal vegetables, and stay active. Along with the pumpkin hunt, low-fat pumpkin muffin and roasted pumpkin seed recipes will be available. Kids will learn how to determine proper portion sizes of fruits and vegetables, and receive information on reading food labels, and preparing and storing food safely.
