Giant Pumpkin Contest Set for Saturday, October 18 at Rocky Creek Farm

Know anyone who has been growing large pumpkins? Montana State University Extension, Rocky Creek Farm and the Southwest Montana Pumpkin Growers will host a giant pumpkin weigh-off this Saturday, October 18 from 10 am to noon at Rocky Creek Farm in Bozeman.

The contest has a minimum weight of 50 pounds and pumpkins can be entered from 9 am - 10 am. The unofficial weigh-in will start at 10 a.m. The winners will be announced at noon. All contestants will receive a miniature pumpkin and a half-gallon of Rocky Creek Farm apple cider. More than $350 in prizes will be awarded.
