The announcement was made this morning in the Moose studio from Captain Vootie himself, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are coming to the Emerson on January 20th!! All of a sudden I'm in a great mood. I got a chance to see these guys live for the first time over the summer at Targhee Fest and I gotta tell you......WOW! They absolutely rocked! Their new album (self titled) is more of a rock album and gives them that luxury. If you've never seen Grace Potter and the Nocturnals play this album live, this is an absolute DO NOT MISS on January 20th. I'll never forget that Targhee performance .... Grace Potter jumping from the organ to the guitar and even helping out with a drum circle at one point with contagious fervor and passion. I'm still explaining to my wife that the reason I took 80 pictures of her was because of that (just trying to capture the passion babe, I guess she's ok looking too). The band is extremely talented and gets along very well, it comes across on stage. They have so much fun and so will you.

This is a Vootie Production so tickets will be on sale very soon at vootie.com. It was also announced that Martin Sexton is returning to the Emerson on either February 9th or 10th. We'll keep you updated because he is always a do not miss as well. It's official today, this winter is gonna be even livelier Bozeman!
