I have made quite a few crazy decisions in my life for music's sake. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I never miss an opportunity to go see my favorite artists in concert.

My love for music began at an early age. I used to watch the Statler Brothers on television when I would stay at my grandparent's house, and listen to Louis Armstrong's Hello Dolly on my grandmother's console record player. That's something that I still remember vividly today.

My dad was always listening to oldies in his old Ford pickup truck, and my mom introduced me to a lot of great music growing up. Needless to say, as an adult, my love for music has grown immensely. It's what led me to a career in radio, and my passion for collecting vinyl records.

I'm getting ready to embark on an incredible music-filled adventure, and I couldn't be more excited about it. Over the next two weeks, I will be attending quite a few concerts. The first is Steve Earl & the Dukes at the Old Saloon in Emigrant, Montana on Friday night.

On Saturday, July 9, I'll be at the sold-out Kenny Chesney stadium concert in Bozeman with around 26,000 other country music fans. I hope that I'm not too exhausted after the first two concerts because next week is going to be jam-packed with concerts as well.

On Tuesday, July 12, I'm headed to Boise, Idaho to see the Avett Brothers. The show was originally supposed to be in 2020 but was rescheduled as a result of the pandemic. I've been looking forward to it for a long time. After that concert, I'm driving back to Montana for the Under the Big Sky Festival the following weekend.
