Misspelled ‘Gallatin’ Suddenly Turns Into Facebook Gold For Snarky Montanans

The snarky, but incredibly witty comments started when a fellow Montanan simply asked about traffic conditions - but misspelled 'Gallatin' when asking her question. What ensued was an abundance of genius replies about biblical references or alien highways. Facebook gold.

Here's what was originally asked by someone in a local 'ask us' Facebook page: "What’s happening on the Galatian highway? Stopped. Not moving at all." Seems harmless, right? Not if you live in GALLATIN County. The floodgates have now opened.

• "Omfg, I'm calling it that from now on."
• "Sorry, I only lived in Bozeman 17 years...where is this Galatian Highway?"
• Galatians 2, 4-6 - "Verily I say unto thee let thine studs carry thee. And the freeze shall thaw and cracks will be upon thine path. And then BFG shall carry thee through the season of construction and on the forest service roads, for all the miles of thine JK until thine frame breaks."

To be fair, many people know the names of Biblical chapters, but those who knew them well made the true internet gold. (It's worth looking up 'Galatians, bible' if you have some free time and are not already familiar with what happens.)

I, for one, will absolutely be calling Gallatin Canyon 'Galatian Canyon' for the rest of my existence. It's just too funny. For real reference, according to Wikipedia:
