Winter in Montana is a beautiful thing (when we have one).

There are tons of different activities that folks partake in. Skiing, tubing, sledding, ice fishing, snowmobiling and more. Not to mention all of the indoor activities that take place during the winter months like high school and college basketball, hockey, and lots of other activities folks enjoy.

While winter isn't my favorite season, I do enjoy it. I love seeing the snow fall, across all of the Montana towns and cities. Whitefish is a popular town among locals and tourists. Not only is it hopping during winter, but its a popular destination in the summer as well. Located close to Glacier National Park, hundreds of thousands of tourists visit each year. Plus, Whitefish was also named "Friendliest Town in Montana".

While Whitefish is listed towards the end of the list, towards the top of the list is another Montana town. It's also popular with tourists all year long. We're talking about the town of Bozeman. Not only is Bozeman home to one of the busiest airports in the Northwest, it's also a hop, skip, and a jump from Yellowstone National Park.
