The Best Fried Chicken In Montana
When people think of Montana, they think of mountains or bears or National Parks. Most don't think of cuisine.
Don't get me wrong, we have our fare share of culinary creations here in Big Sky Country, such as the pork chop sandwich or something with huckleberries, but none of those things are too popular outside of Montana or the region.

Where is the best fried chicken in Montana?
First, let me say that I was born and raised in the south and fried chicken is something you are judged on.
Going to Grandma Wolf's as a kid meant two things, backgammon and fried chicken. I have no idea how she was able to get it on the plate so quickly, but Grandma's are special like that.
While it's popular all over the world, fried chicken as we know it started in the southern states with slavery and has grown into one of the biggest comfort foods in the world.
Did you know that some of the best fried chicken you'll ever have is here in Montana?
Oh, and that's not just me saying that, that's several of my southern friends and Guy Fieri.
Located in Bozeman is Roost Fried Chicken, and if you've never been, it's some of the best fried chicken out there. What started out in Tennessee has made it's way across the states and settled right here in Montana.
Of course, folks have their favorites. The people in Missoula love Double Front and the folks of Butte love the Freeway, and there is no doubt several little diners and cafes that offer up some amazing dishes, but it's hard to beat the real deal, and you'll find the real deal at Roost.
