First Time Home Buyer In Montana? Good Luck.
You know how we talk about how expensive housing is in Montana? Especially in places like Bozeman, Kalispell, and other areas? Well, it seems like you can add the rest of Montana to that list as well.

According to the folks at WalletHub, when it comes to the list of the best places for First Time Home Buyers, Montana didn't make the list. Not one Montana town was on the list of 300 cities. 300 cities!!!
Listen, I know Montana isn't cheap but to not even make the list? We always complain about California, they're on the list like 10 times and we're not on it once.
So, for all if you locals that are hoping the "Montana Migration" is slowing down, it looks like you might be getting your wish. Of course, that will affect some other things as well. That's why affordable housing is important. I mean, who can afford a 800 thousand dollar home in Bozeman?

Most of us can't. I realize that Bozeman isn't like the rest of Montana, or is it? Bozeman was the flavor of the week for a bit, but now we are seeing folks flocking to places like Kalispell and other Montana towns. So, for those of you looking to buy your first home, you might want to check out Idaho.
