Popular Annual Event In Montana THIS Weekend. Don’t Miss Out
When making plans this weekend, keep in mind there is an annual event taking place that you don't want to miss out on.
This Saturday marks the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Gallatin Chapter Banquet. It's held at the Sub Ballroom on the Montana State University's campus.
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation does everything in their power and control to "...ensure the future of elk, other wildlife, their habitat and our hunting heritage". That is also the mission of the RMEF.
The night includes dinner, a raffle, an auction, and games. This event is where you will have the opportunity to become a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and meet like minded people.
How did the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation start?
Four men from northwest Montana recognized there were a handful of organizations that looked after ducks, turkeys and other wildlife species but none dedicated to ensuring the future of elk. On May 14, 1984, they pooled their time, talents and resources and officially established the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. -RMEF
The event starts at 4 pm and you can still get tickets right HERE with a few different pricing options and tables you can purchase for up to 8 people.
Since the Rocky Mountain Elk's start in 1984, the organization along with members and donors, have conserved or enhanced more than 8.9 million acres of North America’s finest elk country.
