M-K Campground is located in the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. The campground features 10 free sites, and all of them are first come, first served. The sites are usually always full on weekends and holidays. It's a good idea to arrive early in the afternoon to make sure you can find a spot. M-K Campground is located 3 miles up the Main Fork Rock Creek Road #2421, not far from the Beartooth Highway. Main Fork Rd. is bumpy and rocky, especially beyond M-K campground. High clearance vehicles are recommended.
