Missing Belgrade High School Student Found Safe

A student at Belgrade High School was reported missing Monday, October 25 at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Local law enforcement agencies and members of the Belgrade community joined forces to search for 15-year-old Alyvea Hookano who was last seen leaving Belgrade High School in a pickup on Monday around 12:15 p.m.

According to an update from Hookano's mother, Alyvea has been found safe, but the incident is still under investigation. Information on where she was found has not been released.

Pictures of Alyvea Hookano were shared on social media Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning and helped law enforcement locate her.

Thankfully, Hookano was located Tuesday afternoon in slightly over 24 hours due in part to tips from fellow Belgrade High School students, and members of the Belgrade community.

We reached out to the Belgrade Police Department for more information but didn't receive a response. The incident is still under investigation and more information will be provided when it becomes available.
