Japanese Trailer for ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol’ Evokes Original ‘MI’ [VIDEO]

Different countries have different versions of movie trailers and TV spots for movies — and sometimes the international editions are better than their stateside counterparts, like this Japanese preview for ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.’

Not only is the spot longer than the TV ads airing in the United States, this version is better because it uses more of the classic TV theme song.

‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,’ which stars Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, and ‘Lost’s’ Josh Holloway, opens in the US on December 21 (and in Japan on December 16). Check out the Japanese trailer below:
