Montana Law Enforcement Makes Massive Drug Bust
According to details released by Montana Highway Patrol, troopers confiscated 14 pounds of methamphetamine, 14 pounds of cocaine, 118 grams of marijuana, and 4 grams of fentanyl powder. On top of that, the operation resulted in 51 total arrests, including 41 deportation arrests.

Let that sink in for a moment. Fourteen pounds of meth. Fourteen pounds of cocaine. Even a small amount of fentanyl can be deadly, and four grams off the street is nothing to shrug off. That’s an enormous quantity of dangerous drugs that will now never make it into Montana communities.
Drug trafficking has become an ongoing challenge across the state, especially along major travel corridors. Interdiction efforts like this one are designed to disrupt that flow before drugs reach towns both large and small. Whether you live in a bigger city or a rural community, these kinds of seizures matter. They protect families, reduce crime, and quite literally save lives.
Great job to the hardworking law enforcement officials who helped keep these dangerous drugs off the streets in Montana. Their work helped remove a staggering amount of drugs from our state and made Montana a safer place.
