Montana Football Team Welcomes These Unexpected Guests To Practice
It's the time of year when we spend our Saturdays outside watching football, soccer, lacrosse, or whatever sport our kids, nieces, or nephews participate in. I used to be the good friend that would go and watch the neighbor's kids play, but then I decided it was too cold for that. I know, I'm not winning any awards here.
But, if I knew I would also get to see these furry guys on the field every time I went to watch the munchkins run around, I would probably show up more often. Just saying.
This video was taken from football practice in Gardiner, MT. Gardiner is well known for wildlife just wandering throughout town.
It's not that often that we get to watch the kids run around (literally) wildlife on the field. But if it's going to happen, it doesn't surprise me that it happens here in Montana.
This isn't the first time that animals have interfered with the sports world. Typically it's not elk, but squirrels definitely like to participate at the most unexpected times.
Let's keep in mind, elk are in rut season, and as you already know, or you SHOULD already know, we do not approach elk or any wild animal at any time. Rut season or not, we do not need anyone else making the headlines for idiotic animal encounters.

Welcome to Montana, where the wildlife do what they please whenever they please, and we like it that way.
