Virginia City, Montana Releases Lineup for New 2026 Music Festival
A newly announced music festival is scheduled for July 31-August 2 in Virginia City, Montana. The Save Virginia City Festival will help support local businesses in the historic town.
Virginia City is a small mining town nestled in the heart of Montana. Due to new lease requirements issued by the Montana Department of Commerce and the Montana Heritage Commission, many vital pieces of the town's history are at risk.
The Montana Department of Commerce, along with the Montana Heritage Commission, dropped the leases of all concierges in December. Offering the leases back at such an inflated price 4 of those businesses could not afford the new lease contracts.
