Nixon Bridge Project Starts This Week

Gallatin County has announced construction on the Nixon Bridge is set to begin this week. Gallatin Forks Fishing Access Site at Nixon Bridge will be closed for river access. This means there will be:

No public access
No parking
No launching or removal of watercraft

The existing bridge was built in 1891, and historic preservation groups have delayed the project numerous times.

Periodic river closures are expected during construction and exact dates will be provided here. Gallatin Forks Fishing Access can be accessed through the Yadon Road walk-in entrance.
