One Of Missoula’s Biggest Hotels Has Been Sold To A New Owner
I was keeping up with the hotel industry - as surely everyone does - by scrolling through Hotel News Resource the other day. If you've never been, it's a website that keeps people in the hotel industry in the know about all kinds of deals being made in hotels around the world. And hey, wouldn't you know it, some info about one of Missoula's hotels popped up!
Turns out, the Hilton Garden Inn - located on Reserve Street in Missoula, not far from the Missoula International Airport - has been sold to a new owner. The spot has been purchased by MCR Hotels, the fourth-biggest hotel owner-operator in the entire country.
What this means for the Hilton remains to be seen - but I wouldn't expect much to change for the customer, at least. MCR's been running hotels for a long time now and already have a few Hiltons under their belt, so I doubt they're rocking the boat too much.
The Hilton is one of Missoula's most popular hotels, and is home to both the Silver Creek Casino, the Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern, and the Garden Grille & Bar. It's got wi-fi, a convenience store, a fitness center, a pool, plus 22,000 square feet of event space. You can see why MCR would want that place for themselves.
Have you ever stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula? Do you have a favorite hotel in town?
