Police Help Remove Napping Bear From Bozeman Home
How would you like to wake up to this?
Members of Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and the Bozeman Police Department removed a bear from a local home on Thursday morning.
The 25-year-old female black bear was found taking a nap near the homeowners' garage.
FWP and police officers think she was eating a neighbor's honey bee hives before settling in for a nap.
The homeowners tried to wake her and scare her away, but she was apparently very content sleeping on their property.
Officials tranquilized the bear and released her back into the wild.
