As the population of Bozeman continues to grow, traffic is constantly getting worse. Driving down Jackrabbit Lane during rush hour is an absolute nightmare. Gas prices are also getting pretty out of hand, and as a resident of Manhattan, my commute into Bozeman for work is putting additional stress on my wallet.

I'm a huge fan of public transportation, and when it's done correctly, it can be a great benefit to any community. As of right now, the furthest that you can travel on a Streamline Bus is Belgrade. It would be great if additional routes were added for people living in different parts of the Gallatin Valley.

I live in Manhattan, and personally, I would ride a bus into Bozeman for work if there was one available.

The Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority has led the fight to restore passenger train service along the North Coast Hiawatha line in southern Montana, but that most likely won't happen anytime soon.

If Bozeman had better options for public transportation, would you use it? Do you think public transportation in Bozeman needs to be improved?
