Ryan Adams Announces 2017 World Tour
Ryan Adams is about to start a handful of dates in support of his newly released Prisoner, but it's not enough. Today, he unveiled plans for a three-month world tour.
You can see all the North American dates below, with the new itinerary beginning May 3 at the Beacon Theatre in New York and concluding on Aug. 4 at the Hinterland Festival in St. Charles, Iowa. Jenny Lewis will join him for two nights, May 10 at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston and May 12 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md.
Adams will also spend a week in Australia and New Zealand in late May, and play three European festivals in early July. He'll return to Europe in August to play shows in Norway, the United Kingdom and Ireland. You can get full details at Adams' website.
Consequence of Sound notes that Adams will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this evening, and that he will premiere his new show, The Midnight Wave, on Apple's Beats One Radio at midnight on Sunday (Feb. 19).
