Should Passenger Trains Return to Bozeman? [POLL]
Advocates are working to return passenger train service along Montana’s southern route.
According to an article recently published by the Missoula Current, advocates are laying the foundation to restore the North Coast Hiawatha Route.
The route would run from Chicago to Fargo and continue west through a number of Montana cities, including Miles City, Billings, Livingston, Bozeman, Helena, Missoula and Paradise.
It would then arrive in Spokane, where passengers could choose between Portland and Seattle.
The economic benefits could be great, as the route runs through the state’s largest cities and more than half of its population.
