Shovels and Rope is an indie folk duo consisting of married singer-songwriters Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. They have an incredibly unique sound, and I've been nothing short of impressed since I first discovered them a few years back.

Huge kudos to the Rialto in downtown Bozeman for hitting out of the park to celebrate their re-opening. So far, they've booked Victor Wooten Trio, Brett Dennen, and now "An Evening with Shovels and Rope" has been added to that stellar list.
