Single Dad In Montana? You May Want To Consider Relocating.

If you are a single dad in Montana, I have some not-so-great news for you. You are definitely not living in the most ideal state for your lifestyle.

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of really great things to do in Montana for you and the kiddo(s), and perhaps you are staying here because you have family or are co-parenting, but as far as getting on the "dating train", you may have to go to a different train station, aka, state.

When the details for 2023's Best Cities To Live In For Single Dads came out, unfortunately, Montana didn't make the list...at all.

I was talking to a friend the other day who was celebrating his 35th birthday, and he was mentioning how Bozeman was too small for dating, especially if you have lived here for some time. Everyone knows everyone or everyone knows the person you are planning a date with.

As a single parent, for whatever reason, the struggles in Montana have to deal with a lack of certain things.

1. Childcare. Finding a babysitter for a date night can be difficult here in the valley.

2. Finding other singles. It may seem like everywhere you go and of all the people you know, there is always at least one single friend in the group. The issue with that is, a lot of singles really just like to be single. They are enjoying the lack of responsibility of having to worry about another adult. They are just living it up alone in their king-size bed.

3. Dad support groups. There isn't an abundant amount of support groups for single dads in the area.

4. Affordability. Let's be real, it's already expensive for daycare, medical bills, groceries, etc. and to add dating to those bills could really put a person in a tough position financially.

Don't lose hope dads, if Montana is where you want to stay, you will find exactly what you are looking for, eventually.
