burn ban

Starting tonight (August 21st) at 5pm - a burn ban is in effect in Bozeman city limits.  Conditions continue to be dry and warm, and the fire ban will be in effect until further notice from fire officials. The Gallatin County Commission has issued a resolution declaring Gallatin County to have Stage One Fire Restrictions. This means you can not conduct any activities that may cause fires which includes Fireworks. During the 4th of July, this ban will be lifted unless conditions change. Below was the ban on open flames earlier today that was then revised to include fireworks as noted above
