Big Sky Resort will be rockin' with the sounds of Galactic and Chali 2na on Saturday night but ALSO local favorites Golden Grenade. Here's a taste of their sound and what they're all about:
We are entirely too excited to see Golden Grenade playing the Music on Main stage this Thursday! You're going to want to catch this show because it's going to be a good one!
Golden Grenade has been voted Best Band in Bozeman. They've played the opening night of Spruce Moose 2012 (and will be playing at Spruce Moose 2013 too!). They're playing Music on Main this Thursday night. They launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to get their EP recorded. Still don't know 'em? You will now:
Other than stealing their set list, I took about a zillion pictures of Golden Grenade at their show last Friday night (which was a FREE show, BTW.) Live music is an integral part of what I do in my spare time....not as an artist but as a fan.
Bozeman already knows about the band Golden Grenade. I'm actually posting this documentary for my music biz friends more than anything. There's a part of me that believes one of them will actually spend the time watching and hear what we do.
Where can one find the greatest local Bands, DJ's and Producers? I'm sure a vigorous online search would find most of them, but why not just see them all live under one roof? This roof exists and it is underground at the Zebra Cocktail Lounge and the occasion is the 2012 Chamberlin Showcase! See a complete list of performers inside.
I can't remember the last time I hugged that many people. Last night brought out the crowds AND the best vibes downtown Bozeman has to offer with Music on Main 2012, presented by 95-1 The MOOSE.
Ask me about Golden Grenade's music. I dare you. Got a couple hours? I love this Bozeman trio and their debut EP is being released on June 1, 2012. Get a free download HERE:
Bozeman's own Golden Grenade stopped in the Moose studio this morning to play us a live show and start their Kickstarter campaign. The band won the Chamberlin Showcase in 2011 and have been the talk of the town ever since. The Kickstarter campaign is to help them get to Nashville and record their first album. Check out just how great they are inside this post.
I've never seen one venue filled with so much talent. As each band took the stage, the competition watched in anticipation. I feel sorry for anyone that did not make it out to the event. I'm one that very much likes variety so I was in heaven seeing 10 bands each play their best songs and then move on to the next. Who took home the honors?
