If you ever encounter a grizzly in Montana's backcountry, a can of bear spray could potentially save your life.

The bear was said to be terrified of people during the operation, and at one point tried to escape the wrong way, running toward the trees of town.

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is proposing that there will not be a hunting season for grizzly bears in southwest Montana this year.
