A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued through 6pm Monday night with the highest elevations around southwest Montana getting up to 12 inches of fresh snow.
Another round of snow is headed for southwest Montana this weekend with up to 20 more inches of snow falling in the mountains by Sunday night. A weather advisory and a storm watch will be working in tandem!
It's nice to see snow levels far above 100% of average for most of Montana, especially right here in the Bozeman and Yellowstone areas. Shoveling more than normal has been a fair price for excellent conditions at Bridger Bowl and beyond.
Several counties will receive some snow on Friday, into early Saturday morning. Several inches are in the forecast for Gallatin, Madison and other counties with snow levels dropping to 5,000 feet.
If you're missing Bozeman this time of year, perhaps these quick drone videos of the downtown area will cheer you up! The Story Mill and Main Street areas are both featured.
