Tony Furtado Will Offer Two FREE Workshops at Music Villa This Saturday, April 5 [VIDEO]

Our friend Tony Furtado, who has been called a genius on banjo and slide guitar, is teaching two FREE workshops at Music Villa in Bozeman this Saturday, April 5. There will be a banjo and acoustic slide guitar workshop.

Saturday, April 5 at Music Villa:

Workshop 1 - The Banjo - 11 am (1 Hour):

Tony will focus on styles, tuning, and techniques that he uses in writing and performing with the 5-string banjo. NOT hands-on, but there will be time for Q and A.

Workshop 2 - Bottleneck Acoustic Slide Guitar - 1 pm (1 Hour):

Tony will focus on getting started playing with a slide (getting good tone and using good technique). He will touch on his approach to using open D fingerpicking as well. There will also be a special demonstration on how to make a bottleneck slide.
