Weekend Accident on I-90 Claims the Life of a Manhattan Man

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a Manhattan man died on Sunday in a single-vehicle accident on I-90. The crash occurred just after midnight between Belgrade & Manhattan.

When first responders came on the accident location they found that two people had been ejected from the vehicle. A female was taken to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, while the male was declared deceased at the scene.

Authorities have identified Larry Dean Veitenheimer, a resident of Manhattan, as the deceased male. The accident investigation is being conducted by MHP, and the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death.
