Which Montana High School Is Ranked The Best In The State?
For many, the days we spent in High School are some of the best of our lives. Friendships, pep rallies, games, and dances are things that we can look back on with fondness for years to come.
Of course, there's also the education part of all of it.
The purpose of school is to get a well-rounded education that will not only put a little knowledge in our brains but prepare us to either go out in the "real world" or head off to higher learning.

According to US News and World Report, Montana has 161 school districts throughout the state, and in those districts, you'll find 169 high schools with over 42 thousand students and over 3000 teachers, which ends up being a state average of 13 students per teacher, per class. Most of those cities and towns only have one high school, while a few Montana cities have multiple.
For those wondering what the determining factors are, the following criteria were used:
- College Readiness
- College Curriculum Breadth
- State Assessment Proficiency
- State Assessment Performance
