Having hosted music festivals for nearly 30 years, Grand Targhee Resort offers a spectacular outdoor setting in the Tetons, with lodging, amenities and outdoor recreational opportunities just steps from the main stage.

Grand Targhee Resort is a year round mountain resort situated on the western slope of the Tetons in Alta, Wyoming, accessible only through Teton Valley, Idaho.   Tucked among spectacular Teton views and national forest land, Grand Targhee is an intimate summer getaway for adventure-seekers, with miles of lift-accessed hiking, running and mountain biking trails, renowned music festivals and a variety of activities in a pristine high alpine environment. During the winter, our abundance of light powder snow (more than 500 inches annually) and virtual lack of lift lines creates an uncrowded skier and snowboarder paradise, continually recognized for great snow, genuine western hospitality, scenic beauty and excellent value.  A leader in environmental resort practices, Grand Targhee Resort was honored with the prestigious 2009 Golden Eagle Award for Environmental Excellence.  For more information, please visit our website at www.grandtarghee.com.

In February, Widespread Panic kicked off their 25th Anniversary year by returning to the site of their first-ever performance where they played two shows in their hometown of Athens, GA. Following the shows on February 15th, the State of Georgia’s House of Representatives and Senate passed resolutions in honor of the band’s 25 years of music, service, charity and longevity. Members of Widespread Panic stood on the floor of the House and were recognized before The General Assembly, followed by an acoustic performance for all in attendance. The band recently made their first appearance at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX where they performed at the first-ever combined SXSW showcase and Austin City Limits television taping, which will air later this year (date TBA).

Stronger than ever after 25 years, Widespread Panic remains one of the top touring acts in the US. The band continues to play to packed arena, amphitheater and festival crowds, setting attendance records throughout the country. Widespread Panic’s fans travel from all over to be a part of their legendary live performances, where every show is its own special event.
