We Bozemanites love our trail systems and later this month all the "Trail Heads" will be in one place, making it easy to get educated and involved!

Representatives from the Gallatin Valley Land Trust, City of Bozeman, US Forest Service, Gallatin County, the Wilderness Society and a variety of trails stewardship and user groups will be on hand.

Kelly Pohl with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust says the summer trails fair will kick off the season of stewardship activities, including National Trails Day.

“All summer, volunteers play an important role in our community’s efforts to main, improve and expand our remarkable trails.  This Trails Fair will be a great kick-off event showcasing all the groups involved in trails stewardship,” said Pohl.

Barb Cestero with the Wilderness Society says the Trails Fair builds on last year’s Greater Gallatin Trails Visioning project.

The Trails Fair kicks off with presentations from trails groups at 6:30 pm on Wednesday May 27th at the Lindley Center.
