With Tomorrow being the day that we gather together and give thanks for all of our blessings it only makes sense that Tonight is Thanksgiving Eve or as a lot of folks refer to it, Drinksgiving.

I'll be honest, I gave up the drink years ago, but the night before Thanksgiving is huge for getting together and throwing a few back with friends, especially in college towns like Bozeman.  In fact, according to some reports, "Thanksgiving Eve" or "Drinksgiving" is the biggest night of the year for several bars.

For many, coming back home for the Holiday is highlighted by going out the night before, plus it might take the edge off of hanging out with parents and grandparents the next day.

There's something special about getting together with people you haven't seen in a while and sharing stories both old and new.  Plus, it allows you to go back to old stomping grounds. and if even for just a few hours, back in time. It's kind of like a high school reunion, except with "Drinksgiving", you can actually be a little more selective with the folks you want to see.

Bozeman certainly has its share of spots to get together and have a drink, so there are plenty of options if you're thinking about going out and meeting up with friends. Downtown is always a popular spot and should certainly be hoppin' tonight.
