One major sign that summer has arrived in Bozeman? Locals and visitors flock to Main Street for live music, food, and to enjoy the beautiful weather.

The Downtown Bozeman Association just released the live music lineup for the 26th Annual Music on Main, bringing six straight weeks of free concerts, fun, and dancing to the heart of Bozeman.

The locally loved summer tradition takes over Main Street between Rouse and Black Avenue every Thursday from July 2 through August 6, 2026. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., with live music running from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

2026 Music on Main Lineup

The 2026 Music on Main lineup includes a variety of great bands and offers something for everyone.

  • July 2: Float Like a Buffalo (Ska, Reggae, Jam Rock)
  • July 9: Emo Kids (Pop Punk)
  • July 16: Lost Canyons (Indie Rock)
  • July 23: Kimberly Dunn (Country)
  • July 30: Tanner Laws Band (Country)
  • August 6: The Galentines (Rock)

During Music on Main, Main Street will be closed between Rouse and Black Avenue, and the City of Bozeman will enforce an Open Container Waiver during the event. Adults 21 and over may enjoy alcoholic beverages in the designated area only if purchased from licensed businesses.

Here are a few rules to keep in mind.

  • No glass containers
  • No coolers
  • No smoking or vaping

Music on Main is entirely funded by local sponsors, making it one of the most community-driven events in the region. It’s a reminder that in Bozeman, summer isn’t just a season, it's about celebrating the place we call home.
