I had the pleasure of meeting a few ambitious, considerate local high school kids this morning when Alex, Jake and O'ryan stopped by the Moose studio. These three Bozeman High seniors wanted help getting the word out about a BBQ fundraiser they helped coordinate this Saturday, which will help raise money for Warriors & Quiet Waters. Come on out and enjoy free food and fun, and leave with the satisfaction of donating to a great cause if you'd like! Details here:

These admirable students began raising money for Warriors & Quiet Waters as part of a class assignment from their U.S. Government class. The assignment involved doing something to better our community, which led them to the organization.  WQW brings U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan to Montana for a six day program of fly fishing and recreation. This program has proven to be an incredibly therapeutic one for these warriors who have returned home wounded in body, mind and spirit.

The BBQ and raffle to support Warriors & Quiet Waters is this Saturday, June 1 from 12 - 3 pm at the Bozeman Ponds (behind Owenhouse Ace Hardware and next to the Gallatin Valley Mall). Enjoy free burgers, dogs and soda. You can donate to this great cause with a tax deductible donation or by purchasing raffle tickets for a chance to win great prizes! See ya there.
