Billings Police Respond To Drive-By Shooting
BILLINGS - Billings Police have three people in custody and are searching for another person in connection with a drive-by shooting that injured one person Monday afternoon. Q2 reporter Angela Douglas says two men and one woman are now in custody. Authorities are still searching for a second female suspect.
Just before 2 p.m. police responded to reports of a drive-by shooting at 4750 Underpass Avenue. A female was wounded and is being transported to a local hospital. At this time, it is not known how serious her injuries are.
Police have recovered what they believe is the weapon involved in the shooting. A gun was found in the snow in front of Extended Stay America.
A male and female suspect were arrested at gunpoint at the Best Western Kelly Inn shortly after 2 p.m. From the scene, Angela reports that a third suspect was picked up at Hampton Inn.
