    Float the Madison River

One of the best ways to beat the heat during a Montana summer is taking a float down the Madison River. It may be a little shallow in spots, but it's always a fun experience.

    Spend the day at Hyalite

It's only a short drive from Bozeman to Hyalite. While there, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views, hiking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and that's just the short list. If you're looking to get off the grid, and not travel far, head up to Hyalite.

Watch a sunset from the "M"

If you live in Montana, beautiful sunsets aren't anything new to you. Gotta love living in Big Sky country. If you get a chance before winter arrives, do yourself a favor and catch a sunset from the "M". You'll be glad you did.

    Music on Main

Music on Main is one of Bozeman's unique events that separate it from other cities of similar size. It happens every Thursday night from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in downtown Bozeman during the summer. This Thursday marks the second to last Music on Main of the year. August 17th will be the last Music on Main of the summer.

    Relax at Fairy Lake

The dirt road on the way to Fairy Lake is pretty rough. A vehicle with 4-wheel drive is highly recommended. If you can mange the drive, Fairy Lake will take your breath away. It's definitely one of my favorite places in the Bozeman area.
