According to the Bozeman Police Department, on Sunday, March 1 at approximately 2:00 a.m., a BPD Sergeant conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which didn’t have its lights on.

When the Sergeant contacted the driver, he observed many indicators of impaired driving, and initiated a DUI investigation.

The DUI investigation then turned into a narcotics investigation when the Sergeant located over $4,000 in cash, a digital scale, and a white powder in a vial on the driver.

A K9 Officer arrived on scene to assist, and the K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle.

The K9 Officer obtained a search warrant which resulted in the recovery of heroin, marijuana, cocaine, and hash oil. Three of the four occupants who were in the car were placed under arrest.
