Downtown Bozeman is getting ready for another season of the Art Walk Series, and the 2026 kickoff is set for Friday, June 12, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Downtown Bozeman Association, along with local galleries, retailers, and the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture, hosts the summer Art Walks each year to highlight local artists and bring people downtown.

Art Walks take place on the second Friday of each month from June through September, with a Winter Art Walk scheduled for December.

More than 35 businesses participate throughout downtown. Each location features local or regional artists, and many also offer refreshments and live music.

The Art Walk Series kicks off this Friday, June 12, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., but the evening starts earlier at the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The Emerson kickoff event includes an Art Walk reception with a community portrait project, an Art Market featuring local artists and makers, and multiple food trucks. Visitors can also explore exhibits throughout the building, check out open studios in the west wing and upstairs, and shop Galleria Hall before heading downtown.

Food trucks at the Emerson include Provecho Rustic Mexican, TaneMaki, CC Gourmet, Piece of Crepe, Bozeman Tropical Sno, and Fizz’d Handcrafted Sodas.

After stopping by the Emerson, you can head to Main Street for the official Art Walk from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Downtown businesses will be open with art displays, featured artists, and live music throughout the evening.

The Art Walks are free and open to the public, taking place rain or shine. For more information and a full list of participating businesses and artists, visit the Downtown Bozeman website.
