Flood Warning Continues for the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone

Minor flooding is expected this weekend for the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River south of Laurel.

According to the National Weather Service:

• The Flood Warning continues for the Clarks Fork Of The Yellowstone at Edgar.
• Until Tuesday afternoon (or until the warning is cancelled.)
• At 9:30am Friday the stage was 8.0 feet.
• Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
• The river is expected to rise back near flood stage by Sunday...then fall gradually next week.
