An important parking study for downtown Bozeman is about to begin. A series of meetings is happening THIS WEEK for people who will be directly affected by parking issues in the downtown core area.

According to the City of Bozeman:

The City of Bozeman Parking Commission is undertaking a comprehensive parking study of the downtown business district.

The study will address a number of critical aspects including: downtown parking policies; future downtown parking needs and opportunities; and future parking cost projections.

Although much legwork has already been done to get to this point, the process takes a while and involves several tasks with several departments involved. (See the full list of Bozeman Parking Study tasks here.)

A draft of the plan is expected to be completed in early March 2016 with the final plan presented to the Parking Commission in April 2016.

The following meetings will provide multiple opportunities for members of the community to learn more about the Comprehensive Downtown Parking Plan and provide input about parking issues.
