On Sunday, I decided to float the Yellowstone River with some friends. Along the way, we stopped at an island to do some rock hunting.

We were finding a lot of pieces of petrified wood when something caught my eye. I picked it up and tried to figure out what it was but I'm still stumped.

Dinosaurs roamed this area long ago, and finding a fossil is always a possibility. Personally, I am clueless when it comes to archaeology, but I want to know what this is. Do you have any idea?

What do you think? Is it a rock or a dinosaur bone?

I realize that most people don't know a lot about Dinosaur bones and fossils, but I'm really curious to find out what it is. If you know anyone that can help identify it, please send them my way.
